Martin Mcdonald

Martin Luther McDonald, 87, of Concord, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at CMC - NorthEast in Concord. He was born March 24, 1926 in Cabarrus County to William Marshall McDonald and Annie Foster McDonald. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Friendship Southern Baptist Church, 180 West Ave. SW, Concord, NC 28027. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jesse Watkins and Rev. Bill Saylor. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery at 471 Church Street, Concord, NC. Survivors include his wife, Judy Ann McDonald of Concord; daughter, Pamela Simpson (Tom) Gantt of Concord, son, Rick (Kathy) McDonald of Concord, daughter, Becky (JD) Wilson of Concord, son, William "Billy" Marshall (Alisa) McDonald of Concord, brother, Frank McDonald, brother, Bud McDonald; four grandchildren, Leslie, Ryan, Karey, Daniel; and three great-grandchildren Miller, Gage, Paisley. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the McDonald family.
