Mary Chester

Mary Louise Chester, 92, of Concord, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Mrs. Chester was born August 19, 1930 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Herbert W. Jones and the late Lachlan Pearl Stewart Jones.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Millard Chester. Also a daughter, Cynthia Ann Sides; grandson, Andrew Chester.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church Concord and will be officiated Reverend Jim Collier. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include son, Mark Wilson Chester (Kathi), granddaughters; Mandi (Olee) Poole,and Katelyn (Chris) Willis, grandsons; Dylan Peninger and Payton Peninger, also great grandchildren Addie, Ella, Aubree Poole, and Drew Willis.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Concord.
