Mary Connell

Mary Lou C. Connell, 75 years of age, of New London, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Mary was born September 8, 1942 in Stanly County to the late Willie Burns Carver and the late Ada Mae Eury Carver.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by her brother, Rev. Charles Carver. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Survivors include husband of 17 years, William Eddie Connell of New London; daughter, Melissa Crisco of Albemarle; son, Wesley Hartsell of Kannapolis; four stepchildren, Troy Connell, Scott Connell, Stacy Harward, Page Furbee; three brothers, Ernest Carver of New London, Rev. Charles Carver of Rockwell, and Bennie Carver of Albemarle; three sisters, Peggy Riggsby of Stanfield, Kay Morgan of Albemarle, and Martha Coble of Albemarle; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren,.
