Mary Crayton

Mary Alice Brown Crayton, age 52, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday, March 19, 2015.

Mary was born and raised in Cabarrus County. She lived most of her life in Harrisburg and attended Central Cabarrus High School. Mary's loves included caring for her family and the children in her life, as well as her friends. Her joys were studying the Bible, making jewelry and gardening with her dad whenever her health allowed.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Crayton, Jr., of Albemarle and her younger brother, Rick Brown. She is survived by her parents, D. T. and Mazella Brown, as well as her older sister, Kathy Pierce. She also leaves behind her beloved nephew and niece, Ryan and Katie; her grandniece, Alyssa and several God children.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Harrisburg Presbyterian Church. Immediately following the service the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall.

Memorials may be made to Harrisburg Presbyterian Church or to the Cowboy Church of Midland.
