Mary Dereamer

Mary Grace Caudle DeReamer, 89 years of age, of Badin, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at her reisdence in Badin. Mary was born April 16, 1924 in Stanly to the late Garlan Caudle and the late Mamie Caudle. She was also preceded in death by husband, John Wesley DeReamer. There will be no local service. Burial will be in Vermont beside her late husband, John Wesley DeReamer. She is survived by special friends, Ashford Matthews, Carolyn Lindow, Lynne Abernethy and Tracey Hinson; and family members, Libby Gibson and Priseilla Howell. Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed needlepoint. She received her law degree from Wake Forrest College. She supported a number of charities and civic organizations in the Badin community. Memorials may be made to the Stanly County Humane Society, 2409 Badin Road, Albemarle, NC 28001 and Badin Baptist Church, 28 Falls Road, Badin, NC 28009.
