Biography Ann L. Efird, 81 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Efird was born October 4, 1935 in Oconee County, South Carolina to the late Charles Christopher Lusk and the late Irene Theodosia Lusk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Linus Efird, sister, Sharon Hall; brother, Melton "Smokey" Lusk; and son-in-laws, Walter Coleman Lowder and Charles "Chuck" Kiker.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM - 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 13, 2017 at St Martin's Lutheran Church at 16592 St Martin Road in Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary officiated by Pastor John Petry. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Teresa Lowder McPherson and husband Billy, Carleen Kiker Clark and husband Don, Robin E. Clark and husband Marty and Freda E. Huneycutt and husband William; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sons, Jeff R. Efird and wife Marisa, Rodney L. Efird and wife Vicky; daughter, Pamela E. Vanhoy; brother, Grady Lusk of FL.; and sister, Connie Wilbanks of SC.
