Mary Gentile

Mary Ann Willis Gentile, 76 years of age, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.

Mary Ann was born April 25, 1941 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

She was also preceded in death by her father Frank Willis, grandson J.P. Bryant, brother Brook Willis and father-in-law Amabile Gentile.

Due to Mary Ann's love of the beach and the ocean, the family is holding a casual beach theme memorial service on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. Friends are encouraged to come dressed casual to the service. A visitation following the service will be held at Cavin and Nikki Bryant's home.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Guy Gentile; two daughters, Rene Poplin and husband, Tony and Nikki Bryant and husband, Cavin; three grandchildren, Alex Poplin, Matt Poplin U.S.M.C. P.F.C. and Jake Bryant; two sisters, Lynn Erwin and husband, Lance of Toms River, NJ and Kathleen Suite of Irvine, CA; and mother-in-law, Eugenia Gentile.

In lieu of flowers, memorials honoring Mary Ann's memory may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Van Story Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
