Mary Gragg

Mary Alice Dennis Helms Gragg, 84 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.

Mary was born February 22, 1930 in Stanly County to the late Enoch Sinclair Dennis and the late Louetta Dry Dennis. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Robert Edward Helms in 1959, and Charles Hubert Gragg in 2013.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, July 22, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Kevin McCormac will follow at 11:00 AM in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at the Palestine Cemetery, 36414 Palestine Road, Albemarle, NC 28001.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa Dianne (Eddie) Aycock of Salisbury; son, Robert Dennis (Barbara) Helms of Gates, NC, and Toby Edward (Debbie) Helms of Rockwell; stepdaughters, Joyce G. (Jim) Melton of New London, and Boyce G. Blalock of Albemarle; stepsons, Charles H. Gragg, and Marshall Lohman Gragg both of Albemarle; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
