Mary Greene

On Tuesday, February 22, 2011, Ms. Mary Kiser Greene of Highway 200 in Concord, made her final trip home on wings of angels and now rests in the arms of her Savior. Ms. Greene was born on December 25, 1920 to Jim and Minnie Kiser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Addison Greene, in 1993. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 23 from 6-9 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, February 24 at 2 PM at Coldwater Baptist Church, following a 30 min. state, with the Rev. Jim Posey and Rev. Tom Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Amelia Greene, Wanda Hale and husband Tommy of Concord; grandson, Scott Gulledge; granddaughter, Crystal Reed and husband Kent; great-grandchildren, Amber Gulledge, Karley Reed and Kayla Reed; great-great-grandson, Joshua Gulledge; great-great-great-grandson Preston Register; and sister, Eunice Stough. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081; Coldwater Baptist Church, 1045 Union Street S., Concord, NC 28025; First Baptist Church of Mt.
