Mary Hall

Mary Hall, age 90, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Avante in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Roger Byrd, will be held in the chapel following visitation at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park. Mrs. Hall was born on May 15, 1921, to the late Arthur Reid Luther and Lula Mae Hudson Luther. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Hall; a daughter, Louise Furr; a granddaughter, Debra Furr; and a brother, Reid D. Luther. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Sossoman and husband, John and Libby Simpson and husband, Boyce of Concord and Carol Bost of Harrisburg; one sister, Erma Lee Mabry of Norwood; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
