Mary Herrin

Mary Willene Helms Herrin, 84 years of age, of Kannapolis, went to meet her Savior on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Herrin was born January 28, 1931 in Concord, NC to the late Olin David Helms Sr. and the late Mary Hudson Helms. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Herrin, Sr. and her daughter, Vickie Herrin Tallent; grandson J.R. Arey, Jr.; as well as her brother Olin David Helms, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concorf. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Herrin Efird; daughter, Sue Herrin Armes; son, Billy Eugene Herrin, Jr.; son, James David Herrin; son, John Charles Herrin; son in law David Nelson Tallent; brothers, James E. Helms, Howard F. Helms, Joe R. Helms; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
