Mary Hinson

Mary Ruth “Ruthie” Gay Hinson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was called to heaven on December 20, 2011. She was born on July 25, 1944 to the late Calvin Sterling Gay. Her mother is Mary Agnes Morton Gay of Marshville. Ruthie was the loving wife to Samuel (Jack) Harrison Hinson. In addition to her husband, Jack she is survived by her three children Charles Meachum Jr. of Marshville, Matthew Meachum of Marshville, and Missy Tina Marie Meachum of Marshville, step-son Durant Hinson of AZ., step-daughter Marlyin Hinson Meachum of Marshville, brothers Calnin Gay Jr. of Wadesboro, and Phillip W. Gay, sister Sharon Love of Rockingham. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren She is preceded in death by her sister Donna Sellers.
