Mary Honeycutt

Heaven gained a special angel when our mother went to be with our Lord Jesus. Mary Galyan Rhinehardt Honeycutt, 89, died peacefully on Feb 29, 2012, at 11:05 at her daughter’s home with her family by her side. She will always be remembered in our hearts. Mary was born March 9, 1922 to the late Elmer & Ellie Galyan. She is survived by three sons, Jerry & Margaret Rhinehardt, Buddy & Diane Honeycutt, Elmer & Teresa Honeycutt; five daughters, Barbara & Jr Hartsell, Paulette & James Thompson, Roxie & Terry Page, Bonnie & Rick Dulin, Debby & George Eudy; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Zeb Rhinehardt in 1945, and by her second husband, Phillip Honeycutt in 1959,;one daughter, Robin Elaine Honeycutt; and one granddaughter, Robin Thompson Wallace. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 1 from 6pm-8pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The Funeral will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 2, at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Millingport. Burial will follow at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Locust. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Clinton Efird and Rev. Mike Threadgill. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the family.
