Mary Lefler

Mary Lou Vaughn Lefler, 83 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Mrs. Lefler was born August 4, 1934 in South Carolina to the late Spencer and Ruby Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ray Lefler; brothers, Clarence "Buff" Vaughn and Johnnie Vaughn; sisters, Ollie Rivers and Virginia Walters.
Mary was a retired secretary from McRae Wood Treating, where she worked for over 20 years. Mrs. Lefler was a member of North Albemarle Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at North Albemarle Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Brad Lynch. Burial will conclude at Sharon Cemetery in Mount Gilead.
Survivors include: sons, Marc David Lefler of Albemarle, Mitchell Eugene Lefler, and wife Lisa, of Concord; sister, Willie Gainey of Merrells Inlet, SC; grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, and Sara Lefler, all of Concord.
