Mary Edith Lefler Mills age 94 of Concord passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 at Universal Health Care in Concord. She was born May 27, 1916 in Anson County,NC. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Roy Mills and her parents, Jack Frank Lefler and Electra Hill Lefler. She is survived by daughters, Lucy Edith Lovelace and husband Phillip of Harrisburg, NC, Judy Grissom and husband John of Lake Wylie, SC; son Roy Mills and wife Judy of Concord, NC; sisters, Mildred Lowder of Porter, NC, Lucy Saunders of Peachland, NC; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 19, 2010 graveside at 4:00 pm at Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be graveside after the service. Rev. Mike Culler will officiate. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St. Albemarle, NC 28001.
