Mary Palmer

Mary Cornell Crisco Palmer, Age 80 of 1610 B Moss Springs Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001, passed away on September 25, 2009 at Britthaven of the Piedmont in Albemarle. Born in on May 12, 1929 in Stanly County. She was preceded in death by her mother Martha Henson Crisco, her father Leander Devotion Crisco , her brother Ted Crisco., sisters- Mabelle Taylor and Beatrice Thompson and 1 granddaughter, Meria Carter. She was a homemaker and loved gardening and her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Devotion Baptist Church of Albemarle. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. Funeral service will held on Monday,September 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle NC . Rev. Jerry Crisco officiating. Burial at Smiths Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mary Cornell Crisco Palmer was survived by her daughters Linda Smith of Albemarle NC, Mary Ellen Hudson of Gaffney SC, her sons Frances E. Palmer, Jr. of Norwood NC, Mitchell Eugene Palmer of Richfield NC, Randy Palmer of Albemarle NC, Jeffrey Palmer of Albemarle NC, her sisters Annie Hartsell of Oakboro NC, Opaline Furr of Oakboro NC, her brother Jerry Linder Crisco of Albemarle NC, fourteen grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. The family will meet at the home of son, Jeff Palmer, 1610 Moss Springs Rd, Albemarle,,NC
