Mary Peacock

Mary Delphine Leitner Peacock, 89, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at Novant Health - Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.

Mrs. Peacock was born January 1, 1931 in Portsmouth,VA to the late Preston Jackson Leitner and the late Maggie Nora Bennett Leitner.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Columbus Alexander Peacock.

The graveside service will be on Friday, October 9, 2020, 2:30 p.m. at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church Cemetery, 7601 Brush Arbor Road, Concord. officiated by Rev. Tony Owens.

Survivors include sons, Jeff Peacock and Rhonda, Dennis Peacock and his wife, Donna, and Michael Peacock and his wife, Margaret; grandchildren, Josh Peacock and Jennifer Harris; and two great-grandchildren.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Peacock family.
