Mary Pollock

Mary Lois Pollock, 81, of Oakboro, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at her home.

Lois was born July 10, 1940 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph Peter Pfiester and the late Elizabeth Bell Pfiester. She was also preceded in death by sister, Dr. Lois Ann Pfiester Fink and brother, Joseph Henry Pfiester.

She will be remembered as a great wife and loving mother who enjoyed travel and spending time with family.

A funeral Mass will take place Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 416 N 2nd St, Albemarle, NC 28001.

Survivors include husband, Thomas Patrick Pollock of Oakboro, NC; son, Joe (Frances) Frey of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Ann (Selden) Smith of Carrboro, NC; son, Bill Frey of Albemarle, NC; step-daughter, Michelle (Jim) Mabry of Louisville, KY; step-daughter, Colleene (Bob) Masters of Floyd Knobs, IN; step-daughter, Noreene (Troy) Padget of Radcliff, KY; 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and The Uwharrie, 960 North First Street Albemarle, NC 28001.
