Mary Ritch

Mary Jaunita Eury Ritch, 84 years of age of Midland, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Transitional Healthcare in Kannapolis. Mrs. Ritch was born November 6, 1927 in Cabarrus County to the late John Houston Eury and Bertie Mertie Lee Eury. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Eury; and her sisters, Mildred Eury Johnson, Betty Eury Hayes, and Doris Dean Eury. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 100 Pine Grove Church Road in Concord officiated by Rev. Don Lisk. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her loving husband, Cecil Sylvester Ritch, of the home; her daughters, Mary Louise Kissiah, of Concord, Rebecca Annette Pinion and her husband, Mike, of Midland, Cynthia Elaine Ritch of Concord, and Glenda Kay Hopkins and her husband, Gene, of Corydon, Indiana; ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; her brothers, Earnest Eury and his wife, Carolyn, of Concord and Ray Eury and his wife, Pearl, of Concord; and her sister, Sue Barringer and her husband, Hal, of Concord. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Transitional Healthcare in Kannapolis for their loving care and attention to Mrs. Ritch.
