Mary Ryan

Mary Cooper Ryan, 79, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle. Ms. Ryan was born March 12, 1931, in Stanly County, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Brooks Cooper; mother, Trulia Cooper Miller Burroughs; son, Terry Passmore; and daughter, Trudy Vogler. There will be a memorial service 11:00 a.m., Sat., January 15, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle, NC. At other times, the family will meet at the home of daughter, Elizabeth Bunch, 40523 Hearne Road, New London. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Passmore of Haddock, GA, and Jimmy Passmore and wife, Charlene, of Cooper, GA; daughters, Elizabeth Bunch and husband, David, of New London, and Vickey Gavey and husband, Mike, of Haddock, GA; step-brother, Paul Burroughs; step-sister, Esther Lovett; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
