Mary Sarah Smith Eudy

Mary Sarah Smith Eudy, 87, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.

Mrs. Eudy was born March 16, 1932 in Cabarrus County to the late Charles Franklin Smith and the late Rettie Lou Harvell Smith. She was also preceded in death by husband, Harold Lee Eudy; son, Harold Ray Eudy, three sisters, and two brothers.

Mary was fond of growing flowers. She grew up on a farm and was a hard worker all of her life. Mary was a retired employee of Cannon Mills. She loved her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Mission Baptist Church Cemetery at 12444 Mission Church Road in Locust officiated by Pastor Michael Carpenter.

Survivors include son, Stevie Eudy of Albemarle; granddaughter, Rebecca Whitley and husband Darrell of Stanfield; grandson, Tim Eudy and wife Katie of Mount Pleasant;  great-grandchildren, Clayton, Andrew, and Morgan Whitley.
