Matthew Fowler

Matthew Ryan Fowler, also known as Matt or Shafty by his loved ones, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 27 years old.
Matt was brought into this world on June 5th, 1989 by his two loving parents Lisa Michelle Blackwelder Fowler and Samuel Lee Fowler III.
He was a talented artist, loved to ride his motorcycle, skateboard, and working out at the gym. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to yoga with his sister Madison, and playing pool. He was a unique individual that loved life, and lived it to the fullest every day. He loved his morning coffee with his grandmother, Nan, and was known for eating lavish meals like fondue, steaks and crab legs.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm,Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Pastor Bob Young of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Following the memorial service, Matthew’s artwork will be displayed for everyone to view the world through his eyes. He was a rare breed with a contagious smile, and will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
