Matthew Thomas Lambert, 50 years of age, of Kannapolis, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Matt was born February 21, 1967 in Concord, NC to the late Ray Lambert and the late Lilla Walters Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lola Lambert; brothers, Charles Lambert and Jeffrey Lambert.
Survivors include his children, Keisha Lambert, Kayla Lambert and Aaron Aleshire; granddaughter, Brielle Breitwieser; sister, Carla Lambert; brothers, John Lambert, Kevin Lambert and Mike Lambert; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition, Matt will be missed by two people he had a special bond with, Keith Lambert and BJ Lambert.
Matt was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School. He owned and operated P & L Utilities with his son, Aaron. In Matt's spare time he loved being with his family and adored his granddaughter Brielle. Matt was known as a hard worker, but his greatest accomplishment were his children. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, officiated by Rev. Gene Edwards. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in China Grove, NC.
