Maude Stephens

Maude Maxine Kee Myers Stephens, 87 of Concord, passed away on March 17, 2012 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be at Concord First Assembly on Tuesday, March 20th at 11 am, with Rev. Tom Widden and Rev. Brad Hargett officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Maude was born on August 21, 1924 in Cabarrus County, to the late James Walter and Lula Lacey Horton Kee. She was also preceded in death by her first husband John Myers. Maude was a member of Concord First Assembly Church and was a retired Nurse’s Assistant with CMC-NE Medical Center. She is survived by her second husband of 6 years, David L. Stephens of the home; step-daughter, Gail Overcash and husband Jimmy of Mt. Pleasant ;step- son, David Stephens and wife Tracey of Vienna, VA; sister, Margie Swanson; brother, Leonard Kee. Memorials may be made to Concord First Assembly Senior Citizens Ministry 150 Warren C.
