Max Cauble

Max Adolphus Cauble, age 84 of 32355 Millingport Rd, Albemarle, NC, passed away on September 09, 2010 at Britthaven of Piedmont. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, Saturday from 6 to 8. At other times the family will be at the home of his daughter, Maxine Dunn, 32367 Millingport Road, Albemarle. Funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Sunday, at 2 PM. Rev. Mickey Howard and Rev. Stoney Benfield will officiate. Burial will be at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born in Stanly County on July 03, 1926, he was the son of the late Adolphus Monroe Cauble and the late Mamie Agnes Eudy Cauble. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Stella Dennis Cauble, January 30, 2010, and brothers, Melvin Cauble, Fred Cauble and Eugene Cauble. He is survived by his daughter Maxine Dunn and husband Jerry of Millingport , his grandchildren Ronnie Dunn and wife Lisa of Millingport , Timothy "Tim" Dunn and wife Maria of Locust , his great grandchildren, Sydney and Gracey Dunn. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Albemarle and a member of Woodmen of the World. He worked for American Efird and Albemarle Spinning for 46 ½ years as a supervisor.
