Maxine Cartrett Cain

Maxine Cartrett Cain, 86, of Concord, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her residence in Concord, NC.

Maxine was born December 31, 1936 in North Carolina to the late Raleigh Leon Cartrett and the late Mattie Mae Brown Cartrett.
 
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Linn Cartrett, son-in-law, Dennis Richard Pope, and granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Green.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be the following day on Friday at 12:00 pm at Multiply Church (Suite 15, next to Big Lots) in Concord. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery, located at 471 Church Street, Concord.

Survivors include daughters, Victoria Cain Love, and husband Russell of Harrisburg, Aimee Elizabeth Cain, Kimberly Maxine Cain, of Concord, sons, Joe Linn Cain Jr. and wife Kimberly of New Bern, and Dr. Jerry Michael Cain and wife Nicole of Montreal together with many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Maxine's name to Cabarrus Meals on Wheels at cabarrusmow.org.
