Maxine Measimer

Maxine Measimer, 77 years of age, of Concord, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home in Concord.
Ms. Measimer was born October 21, 1937 in Union County, NC to the late Thomas Roy Gardner and Kate Hill Gardner.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Measimer in 2009; and brothers Earl Gardner, Jimmy Gardner; Frank York, William York; and sister Susie Tucker.
Survivors include sons, Thomas Wayne Measimer and Michael Edward Measimer of Concord; sisters Grace Brooks, Katherine McFarland, Carolyn Capps, Wanda Russ, and Frances McLemore.
The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, March 18 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 19th at 1:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
