Maxine Whitehead

Maxine Linker Whitehead, age 49 of 1234 Columbus Ave., Apt. A, Albemarle, passed away on April 21, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. She was a spinner and a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. Memorial service will be at Hill Street Baptist Church, Albemarle, on Saturday, May 1 at 11 am. Rev. Thomas Andrufski will officiate. Born in Cabarrus County, on June 15, 1960, she was a daughter of Howard Caldwell Linker, Jr. of Kannapolis and the late Judy Brenda Hartsell Linker. She is survived by her sons; Colt Yates and Jennifer Tucker and Derrick Yates and Robin Hicks, all of Rockwell; brothers William Lee Linker of Hornett County and Danny Linker of Kannapolis; sisters, Barbara Miller of Kannapolis and Donna Morris of Mooresville; life companion, Allen “Mac” McIntyre and 2 grandchildren.
