Melissa Caudill

Melissa Mae Myers Caudill, 40, of Concord, passed away October 1, 2009, at CMC Northeast after a valiant fight with breast cancer that lasted 4 years.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:30 PM Monday, October 5, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. Funeral services will be held at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 3 PM on Monday, with the Rev. Michael Fongemy officiating. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens in Concord.
Mrs. Caudill was born March 19, 1969, in Sayre, PA. She was a 1987 graduate of Sayre High School, and she also graduated from Fayetteville Tech in Fayetteville, NC. She was a real estate appraiser with The Appraisal Group in Charlotte and an active member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Concord. Melissa lived life to the fullest. She was very courageous until the very end.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Caudill of the home; daughter, Mikayla Caudill of the home; step-son, Terry Caudill of Concord; mother, Lynda V. Myers of Sayre, PA; brother, Jeff Myers of Altoona, PA; and sisters Heather Kovarik of Concord, and Laurie Wells of Stanton, CA.
