Melvin Ray Bradley, Age 71 of 109 Sunset Circle, Locust, North Carolina 28097, passed away on July 20, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord. Born in Mecklenburg county on August 08, 1938 to the late Harland Bradley and the late Ruth Thomas Bradley. Melvin Ray Bradley was also preceded in death by wife Rosemary Whitfield Bradley . Mr. Bradley was an equipment operator, retired from the town of Matthews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Midland. Funeral service will held on Friday,July 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, 13575 Broadway Ave. Midland NC. with the minister Rev. Tom Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Charlotte NC. Melvin Ray Bradley was survived by his Daughter Cheryl Williams and husband Phil of Albemarle NC,; his son Mike Bradley and wife Cindie of Purcellville VA, and five grandchildren .
