Meredith Stallings

Meredith Rae Stallings' courageous journey through life began March 12, 1970. Meredith earned her wings August 12, 2017 as she went home to be with her Savior in that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. She is the daughter of Robert and Peggy Stallings and was preceded in death by her mother.

Meredith was a lover of all genres of music. One of her favorite jobs was a morning producer at Kiss 95.1. Although her interest in music was widespread, she was an avid Elvis fan and never missed an opportunity to attend concerts featuring Elvis Tribute Artists.

Meredith never let anything keep her down and lived life to the fullest. Her unfloundering faith and love for the Lord made her an inspiration to all. She was truly a beacon of light and hope to all who were graced by her beautiful smile. Her desire to be independent allowed her the freedom to enjoy each day filled with joy and adventure.

Meredith is survived by her father, Robert Stallings (Sue), and her loyal dog, Rocky. She is also survived by her Aunt Geraldine Gledhill (Bob), Aunt Janet Munson, all of Concord; her uncle Jerry Munson (Evie) of Fl. and numerous cousins, friends and extended family.

Visitation for Meredith will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 12 - 1 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. All services will be held at Broadus Memorial Baptist, 59 Green St., Concord, NC. Rev. Rodney Quesenberry and Rev. Mike Farley will officiate. Assisting as pallbearers are Jeff Gledhill, Mike Gledhill, Regina Hinson, Cam Stallings, Jim Hayes and Ronnie Hinson. Honorary pallbearers are Dave Yandow and Mark Hamilton.

We are rejoicing that she has no more limitations, pain or illness and is reunited with her mother, grandparents, aunts and uncles, dancing the streets of gold.

Memorial donations may be made in Meredith's memory to MS Society or Coltrane Living Center.
