Michael Broome

Mr. Michael Eugene “Mick” Broome, 48, of 1126 Juniper Place SE, Concord, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at CMC NorthEast. He was born on February 16, 1962 in Cabarrus County to the late Carl Lee Broome and the late Doris Ann Garmon Broome. Michael was a member of Roberta Baptist Church and a stocker for Walmart. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home of his sister, Carlene Furr, at 3924 Cochran Road, Concord. He is survived by his wife, Ann Broome, of the home; sons, Daniel Lee Broome and Nicholas Blake Broome, both of Concord; daughter, Tina Michelle Broome, of Concord; brothers, Carl Junior Broome, of Davidson, and Bobby Garmon, of Kannapolis; sisters, Cynthia Thomas, Carlene Furr, and Jody White, all of Concord; one granddaughter, Aunna Mae Dixon; and his best friend, Chug.
