Michael "Mike" Eric Madorin

Michael “Mike” Eric Madorin, 66, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mike was born on February 2, 1959, in Kirksville, Missouri to the late Emil “Fred” Madorin Jr. and Phyllis Davolt Madorin of Harrisburg NC. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Madorin.

Mike was a kind and compassionate man with a quick wit and a great sense of humor. His sons were the light of his life and nothing made him happier than being with them. He was a supportive, loving and fun husband throughout his 43 years of marriage to his loving wife, Jeanne. Mike was employed at U.S. Legends International, where he formed many friendships with the people he worked with and the customers he had assisted over the last 30 years. He enjoyed sports, especially collegiate sports, and was an accomplished bowler, achieving a perfect 300 game. Above all he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, playing cards and games, traveling or just watching a good movie. Mike will be remembered most for taking the time to provide a listening ear, lend a hand, give a compliment or just make someone feel special.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jeanne Madorin, son, David (Virginia) Madorin, son, Steven (Krista) Madorin, grandson, Graham Madorin, mother, Phyllis Madorin, and brother, Patrick (Carol) Madorin. The Madorin family is especially thankful for the care and compassion provided to them from the medical team of Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care Cabarrus during Mike’s illness.

Mike’s family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UNC Charlotte Athletic Foundation or UNC Greensboro Spartan Athletics Scholarship Fund.
