Michael "Mike" Robert Bowden

Michael “Mike”  Robert Bowden, age 67, husband of Ginny Bowden, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at his residence in Concord, NC.

Mr. Bowden was born December 12, 1955 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania to Robert and Marion Bowden. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Perry Bowden.

Mike worked, until retirement, for Washington Township Public Schools in New Jersey. After retiring and relocating to Concord, NC, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Annual beach vacations, trips to Clemson for football games, going to his grandchildren’s many sports and dance events were some of his favorite activities. 

Survivors include wife, Ginny Bowden of Concord, NC; beloved stepmother, Nancy Bowden of Aston, PA; a brother, Robert “Boo” Bowden (Jennifer); niece Adelina of West Chester, PA; a brother, Steven Bowden; nephew Ronnie and family; two stepchildren, Brian King (Becky) of Concord, NC and Meredith Conlon (Jason) of Prince Frederick, MD; five grandchildren, Geoffrey, Jackson, Cooper, Megan and Jocelyn. Michael also had several other loving family members. 

A celebration of Life for Michael will be held by the family at a later date.
