Michael Morgan

Michael Bayne Morgan, 84, of Ridgecrest, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Mikey was born April 4, 1938 in Albemarle to the late Gaston and Cynthia Kendall Morgan.
He was also preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Kelly.

The memorial service will be on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. A reception will be held at the home of Mikey Morgan immediately following the service.

Survivors include sons, Mark Morgan of Alpharetta, GA, Jeff Morgan of Indian Trail, NC,  Jon Harwood of Salisbury, NC and daughter, Amie Joyner Brown; grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, and Ricky Morgan, Henry and Michael Morgan, Kira and Luke Harwood.

Mikey loved nature and animals of all kinds, horseback riding, woodworking, and most importantly spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Levine Cancer Institute of Albemarle.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Levine Cancer Institute of Albemarle, and Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie.
