Michael Norman Kindley

Michael Norman Kindley, age 65, went home to be with the Lord January 30, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.

Michael was born in Concord, NC, and graduated from Central Cabarrus High School. He was self-employed in the construction industry for most of his career. He was a master craftsman, creating puzzles, games, and intricately designed shadow boxes and pictures that he lovingly gave as gifts. He was dedicated to his family and loved kids (anybody’s kids) as they were his greatest joy. He loved having a garden and would work tirelessly to provide vegetables for family and friends.

Mike was always ready for any conversation on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It didn’t matter where - at a store, restaurant or job site. He would always refer to the well-worn Bible he kept in his truck.  He didn’t want to use his words to answer a question; he wanted to answer it with God’s word.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus & Shirley Kindley, and his sister Debra.  Left to cherish his memory are his children and grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews, and many other close family and friends.

The family will have a private graveside service.

Family and friends will gather from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday February 6, 2024, at Suite 75 located at 280 Concord Parkway S, Concord, NC 28027.
