Milas Connell

Milas Riley Connell age 81 of 29086 Sweet Home Church Rd, Albemarle, NC passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his home. He was born March 22, 1929 in Mecklenburg County. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Johnson Connell and Rebecca Green Connell. He is survived by his wife Ethel Lee Lefler Connell of 64 years of the home; son Gerald “Jerry” Connell and wife Carolyn of Albemarle; daughter Phyllis Burleson and husband Gary”Chub” of Albemarle; grandchildren, Michael, Chris and Rebecca; and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 6 pm to 8 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. Funeral service will be Monday, November 1, 2010 at 4 pm at Anderson Grove Baptist Church with a 30 minute state. Rev. Ron Honeycutt and Rev. Yates Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow at Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet at the home.
