Mildred Louise Craven, 87 years of age, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Caremore Assisted Living Facility in Concord.
Ms. Craven was born April 10, 1928 in North Carolina to the late David Alexander Motley and Mary Furr Motley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Eugene Craven, seven brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Pitts Baptist Church. The funeral service will start at 2:30 pm officiated by Rev. Scott Davis. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Survivors include her sons, David (Pam) Craven of Concord, Mark (Kathy) Craven of Kannapolis, Aaron Craven of Davidson, Paul (April) Craven of Concord; her daughters, Joan (Ken) Lambert of Mooresville, Joyce (Larry) Mize of Emerald Isle; her sisters, Alice Blackwelder of Lawrenceville, GA, Martha Linker of Winston-Salem and Sarah Tobin of Charlotte.
