Mildred Ferguson

Mildred Olene Greene Ferguson, 90 years of age, of Monroe, NC passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Mrs. Ferguson was born November 27, 1927 in Monroe, NC to the late John Vann Greene, Sr. and the late Hettie Della Baucom Greene. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hughlan Lee Ferguson in 2009.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 9th at Hopewell Baptist Church, 420 Hopewell Church Road in Monroe, officiated by Dr. Lee Pigg.  The family will be gathering at the home of Mildred Ferguson following the service.  A private burial will take place in the church cemetery at a later date.

Survivors include her daughter, Claudia Whitley and husband Wayne; daughter, Donna Furr and husband Allen; granddaughters Kelsey Whitley and Hayley Whitley; and grandsons Jeremy Furr and Travis Furr.
