Mildred Heintz

Mildred “Alice” Petrea Heintz, 91, of Cold Springs Rd., Concord passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Born on June 29, 1920 in Cabarrus County to the late Winfred Labon Petrea and Ada Loretta Winecoff Petrea. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Cornelius Heintz, son, Bill Heintz, and daughter, June Bierlair Hicks. Alice was a homemaker, and a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at Cold Springs United Methodist Church in Concord on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 2 PM, with the Rev. Neil Haynes officiating. The family will be receiving friends after the service. At other times the family will meet at her son Larry Heintz’s home, 2687 Cold Springs Rd. East Concord. Survived by: sons, M.L. Heintz of Locust Grove, OK, Larry J. Heintz of Concord, NC, Don C. Heintz of Mt. Pleasant, NC; daughters, Glynn Barnhardt of Mocksville, NC, Lynn Whitley-Sossa of Huntersville, NC; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
