Mildred Edith Isenhour, 92 years of age, of Gold Hill, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her daughter Louise's home under hospice care.
Mrs. Isenhour was born April 14, 1925 in Cabarrus County to the late George William Barringer and the late Dora Culp. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Spencer Isehhour and sisters, Ruth Morgan and Jennie Hall.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Friday, May 26, 2017 at Matton's Grove United Methodist Church, 24732 Matton's Grove Church Road in Gold Hill. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary officiated by Rev. Jim Groome and Rev. Tony Bowman. Burial will follow after the service in the church cemetery.
Survivors include son, Charles Alvin Isenhour of Kernersville; daughters, Betty Thomas of Kannapolis, Linda Woods of Salisbury, and Louise Luther of China Grove; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and sisters, Irene Troutman of Richfield, and Christine Ridenhour of New London.
