Mildred Kizar

Mildred Jahalla Huneycutt Kizar, 80 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.
Mildred was born September 1, 1935 in Cabarrus County to the late Grady Lee Huneycutt and the late Myrtle Dixie Smith Huneycutt.
She was also preceded in death by daughter, Dixie Harris, two husbands, Jessie Kizar and Floyd Burnette Medlin; and granddaughter, Rita Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Hoyle Huneycutt and Rev. Buck Canup. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC.
Survivors include one daughter, Mildred "Tina" Thomas of Ellerbe; brother, Hoyle Huneycutt of Midland; two sisters, Rosa Bullard and Arleane Medlin, both of Albemarle, three grandsons, Jason (Jennifer) Hartsell and Pete Thomas, both of Albemarle, and grandson, Jeffrey Harris of Ellerbe; four great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
