Mildred Ann (Howell) Lawhon, age 64, of Albemarle, N.C., died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at NorthEast CMC in Concord, N.C. Lawhon was employed by Albemarle Spinning Mills as an inspector and was a member of North Albemarle Baptist Church. The family meeting place is at the home of Michelle Ussery, Mildred's daughter, 29554 Nelson Mt. Road, Albemarle.. . She was the daughter of the late James Howell and the late Mary (S.) Howell. She is survived by her husband Michael Lawhon and Five Daughters, Michelle Ussery of Albemarle, N.C., Michelle Renee Ussery of Millingport, Patricia Diane Morgan of Albemarle, Mary Ann Marie Barringer of Aquadale, Teresa Dawn Helms of Aquadale Two Sons, Michael Aaron Lawhon of Florida, Samuel Dunlap Lawhon of New London Two Sisters, Marion Thompson of Albemarle, Alice Horne of High Point Seven grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle, P. O. Box 7, Albemarle, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel - Albemarle at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2009 , Rev. Ron Honeycutt officiating. Interment will be at Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Albemarle, N.C.
