Mildred Lowder

Mildred Louise Solomon Lowder, 86 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle. Mildred was born June 15, 1927 in Stanly County to the late Willie Lester Solomon and the late Julina Coble Solomon. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Spurgeon Lowder and Roy Burleson; and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughter, Joyce Puckett and husband William of Cana, VA; grandchildren, Cindy Heglar and husband Scottie of Richfield, Donna Huneycutt and husband Lynn of Monroe, and Jeff Puckett and wife Tina of Albemarle ; seven great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Mauldin; and brother, Jennings Solomon. There are no services at this time. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Lowder family.
