Mildred Lowder

Mildred Eleanor Lowder, age 86 of 911 Lowder Street, Albemarle, NC 28001, passed away on October 31, 2009 at her home. Born in Stanfield, NC on March 24, 1923, Mildred Lowder was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Monroe Love and Laura Ella Huneycutt Love, her husband, Robert Woodrow Lowder and a son, Bob Lowder. She is survived by a son, Darrell Woodrow Lowder of Albemarle, daughters; Catherine Lowder Anderson of Houston, Texas and Myra Lowder Sfikas of Winston-Salem, NC, sister, Aunt Winifred and grandchildren: Conrad Lowder, John Lowder, Rick Lowder, Gray Hardister and Erika Giles. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. She loved her friends, family and her dog, Bear. The family will meet at her home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001 Visitation will be Monday from 6-9 at her home, 911 Lowder Street. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 PM at 911 Lowder Street. Rev. Leslie Wray and Rev.
