Mildred Furr

Mildred Ruth Furr, 84, of Concord, passed away peacefully Friday, February 16, 2018.

She was a daughter of the late Carl Ritchie and Sadie Lipe Ritchie.  In addition to her parents, she was a preceded in death by her brothers, Flake, Price , Glenn and, Grady Ritchie.  She was also preceded by her  sister, Lucille Petrea.

Mildred loved spending time with family, doing crossword puzzles and reading her devotions.  She enjoyed being outside and had a pretty amazing green thumb.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Furr; son, Ray Furr (Kellie); daughter, Dawn Black (Howard), granddaughter, Amanda Phillips (Brandon), grandsons, Adam Furr, and, Howie Black, granddaughter, Samantha Black, great-granddaughter, Emersyn Phillips.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Hartsell  Funeral Home Concord, NC. The funeral service will be on Monday at 12:00 pm at Hartsell  Funeral Home Concord, NC. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Kannapolis.
