Millicent Cooper Wigg, 82, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her home.
Millicent was born November 16, 1932 to the late Jasper Jack (Shorty) Cooper and the late Lydia Columbus Hardee Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Hutson Wigg, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 15, 2015 at North Kannapolis United Methodist Church, 1301 N. Main St., Kannapolis. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Ron Hartman, will follow at 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary. The burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Kannapolis.
She is survived by her son, William "Bill" Hutson Wigg, III and wife Sue of Charlotte; daughters, Lorrie Foster of Mt. Pleasant, Jackie Hartman and husband Ron of Kannapolis, and Valerie Wigg of Concord; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
