Millie Owens

Millie Louise Owens, 71, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her home.

Millie was born October 10, 1948 in South Carolina to the late Curtis Steen and the late Lilly Mae Steen. In addition to her husband, Fred Odell Owens, Millie was also proceeded in death by brothers, Clyde Steen, Harland Lee (Pete) Steen, Gary Curtis Steen; and sisters, Mary Ruth Steen, Katie Mae Steen.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home, 522 N Second St., Albemarle.  The Service will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel Friday, September 4, 2020, at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at White Crest Baptist Church Cemetery, 1051 River Rd., Mt. Gilead.

Survivors include sons, Junior Owens and Stanley Sullivan (Vickie); 10 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers, Billy Wayne Steen, Joseph C. Steen, Johnny Frank Steen; and sister, Peggy Sue McDaniel. A special thanks to Claudine Owens, who helped care for Millie over the last few years.
