Minnie Huneycutt

Minnie Louise Wilhoit Huneycutt, 76 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Bethany Woods Nursing Facility surrounded by her family. Mrs. Huneycutt was born November 22, 1937 in Montgomery County to the late John Baxter Wilhoit and the late Lillie Mae Seagraves Wilhoit. She was also preceded in death by her son, Alvin Baxter Blackmon, and her sister, Mary Ruth Johnson. The funeral service will be on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle, officiated by Bryan Wright. Burial will follow at the Hamer Creek Baptist Church, Hwy 109, Mt Gilead. In addition to her husband, Jerry Huneycutt of Albemarle, she is also survived by her sons, Jeff Blackmon of Norwood, Scotty Blackmon of Albemarle, Jeremy Huneycutt (Lisa) of Albemarle; daughters, Crystal Blackmon of Charlotte and Amy Blackmon of Albemarle; grandsons Joey Blackmon and Heath Blackmon; one great granddaughter, Temperance; sisters, Hazel Love, Betty Mauldin, and Brenda Sue Smith (Kenny).
