Minnie Wooten

Minnie Lee Hauser Wooten, age 81 of 40623 Old Salisbury Road, Richfield, passed away on December 12, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Born in Yadkin County, NC on April 22, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Clyde Hauser and the late Ida Maude Hauser. She was also preceded in death by her husband Howard Leon Wooten. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Wooten Crisco and husband Roger of Albemarle; two brothers; W.C. Hauser of Yadkinville and Allen Hauser of Hamptonville, NC; two grandchildren, Scott and Kelly Crisco; and three great grandchildren, Zachary K. Crisco, Kayelee Crisco and Noah Lane Crisco. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2009 from 07:00 PM 09:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. At other times the family will meet at the home of Roger and Janice Crisco, a daughter and son in law, 20687 US 52 S., Albemarle. Funeral service will held on Monday,December 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Plyler Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Max Vanderburg will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
